Acquired from an altitude of 705km this Landsat 7 ETM+ false colour image off the coast of North Wales has been enhanced using the near infrared, short wave infrared and red wavelengths displayed as red, green and blue. The image covers an area 40km x 35km.

This spectacular satellite image was captured at approximately 9.30am local time and enhanced to highlight the various cloud layers. Jet streams from aircraft and associated shadows combine to produce a unique natural work of art.
